Ulog 42: Late night binging

I know I should be going to sleep. But instead I am here sitting the last few hours bing watching a television series about the Vietnam War by Ken Burns. It’s a different version of the story of the War that basically said that America should have never entered the war and that the war was lost from the start. It seemed that Americans never had just cause to enter the war in the first place.

Combined with the war moral aspects, at home, Americans were going through the civil right movement. Such was that there were many injustices being fought on the streets of America.

This was just one view of the many views of the war.

The documentary was well thought out. They tried to bring in many perspectives, Including Americans, North Vietnamese, South Vietnamese, Viet Congs, and activists. So the director was trying to convey that it was a fair documentaries.

There were many atrocities committed from both sides. I wonder at what point will we ever know when all of this would finally be brought out. It is likely this will forever be buried into the archives.

In any case, I am rambling about the tv series. Now I am so sleepy. I am hoping to get up early tomorrow morning. I may ask my mother in law to go and look at some potential houses up in North Philly. We haven’t gone looking for house in a while.
