Ulog 41: Click
I just spent the last 45 minutes watching an old Adam Sandler’s movie about a guy who is a workaholic and went to a Bed and Beyond to buy an universal remote control. The movie name is Click. The remote control enables the main character to control how his life plays out include which part to skip and fast forward. The remote learns from him on which parts to skip. So he ended going through his life on auto-pilot getting the promotion and career that he always wanted but ended up missing out on his family and his wife divorced him. It was a big corny but it hits on some key messages.
It was also ironic because I fast forwarded on the movie for most of the part and tried to only play on the important parts. I have seen the movie before already. So I guess it’s okay.
I wonder if we go through auto pilot in our daily life or if we really think about what we do every day. I bet if we stop to think about it we would be nicer to the people around us. We would cherish the family and friends who are there for us in time of happiness and time of sadness. It would certainly help in having a fulfilling life.
