Unfortunately, I'm not in that position. I have no fiat income at the moment. Selling my steem hurts but that's life.
Its all good my friend, it's as you say, such is life. As long as you keep active, creating content everyday, curating and what not. You can offset that a little bit.
I've ran some numbers and you might think I'm crazy for saying this but a 8-12 % ROI per month just through Social Interaction is possible with highly active accounts.
There are plenty of examples of this, but it requires "a lot of activity" and of course people have different schedules.
