#Ulog No 1 : Our first day of summer experience.
Hello my friends,
Now is summer in our country - Vietnam. I like summer very much because it is time for us to organize a very interesting and meaningful experience program for our students.
This activity is called "Summer Experience". This is a one-month course. In this course our students will be taking part in extracurricular activities and improving their living skills.
Visit the museum
We went to visit Thanh Hoa museum . There were many unique and rare artifacts, a unique cultural characteristic of the Vietnamese nation.
I would like to take the students to the museum as one of the many effective way to teach history. Much better than textbooks, it wasn't impressed for them. Artifacts in the museum had great persuasiveness in their understanding.
Go to the supermarket to buy stuffs
Go to the supermarket, find the right item to buy, see the price and payment ... was very necessary skills. For our students, this was really a learning session that played incredibly well.
Each of them were excited to find the right stuffs that was required by me. They were taught how to see the price and add up to see if the items they buy are consistent with the fixed amount .
After finding, pick the right item , they were taught to stand in line waiting for payment. The skill to pay the bill was well done by them. After the purchase, they had to return me the bill to check, each of them well accomplished the task.
The fun was probably after the purchase of finished products they were bringing home. They were milk, instant noodles, face towels, food, toothpaste .They were all the things they like.

Great, these are great activities for kids. I support almost everything and get excited when these activities are organized in our country.
I hope it will have more activities of survival skills and dismiss the visit the museum. I believe that almost all of our history is distorted, and the museum is also distorting history. We will actually pass on to children false perceptions of our history. Ideally, let them find it in the future if we can not convey the truth.

I understand what you say, simple children are pure and love to explore. Children's delight is not a reason to teach them things aren't true.

It must be a very memorable trip for your students. They went to a museum for a history class is a very important way to teach the children because nowadays most of the school only teach them through text book and video only, they will surely appreciate and learn more when they can actually see the historical relics.
