I have literally spent the last week in a total whirlwind of mood swings, moving from ridiculously happy to utterly explosive… and yes, for obvious “female reasons” – but I swear it gets worse with age!!! Lol!!! – NO, REALLY! I don’t think I have bitten as many people’s heads off EVER as I have in the last few days! (keep quiet @zord189 lol) - Sorry to all of you that encountered my “wrath” haha!

Last night, after yet ANOTHER completely emotionally turbulent day, all I wanted to do was run away!!!! The desperation was real I tell you! lol. Now as many of you will know, I don’t watch much on tv…. Not movies, series – nothing. I am more of a music girl mostly, but last night – I needed a different kind of escape and so I decided to say FNCK the rules, SCREW bedtime and getting enough sleep -

”I am going to sit my sorry arse on the couch
and watch a bloody chick flick!”

…and so that was precisely what I did!

When I am in “these” kinds of moods, I will seldom choose a movie I have NOT seen before, because if it is crap – that is just going to piss me off even more lol! So – I selected Eat, Pray, Love which I KNEW was EXACTLY the soul food I needed.

I allowed myself to get completely swallowed in it and DAMN it made me feel so much better! As I sat watching, I decided that today, I would not work at all – I would get into my car and just drive. Stop off wherever I wanted and enjoy some time out and about by myself in an attempt to regain some form of sanity and emotional stability within me. I was suddenly so excited to think that I could spend the entire day (until having to collect Jude from school) just enjoying time with “me”, absorbing my surroundings, taking pics etc.

But then when I woke up this morning, the pain which had started the day before was now completely debilitating!!! I could not move at all and so lay stomach down on my electric blanket for like 2 hours as this was the ONLY position which afforded me ANY relief whatsoever! Thankfully, Dave went off to grab some drugs for me and after having those, I actually felt less like a pained demon and more like a human being again… but by this point, half the day had already passed and there was no real sense in hopping off for my private little adventure…

...But I AM thinking that tomorrow sounds good…. Weather dependent obviously!

Loving the idea of "out and about" trips with me, myself and I! I shall call them...
SANITY MANAGEMENT lol!
