Cold day steeming friends! I'm on my first day of the twelve-day seminar here at Golden Peak Hotel. As usual, I'm an early bird so I arrived at the venue with this empty chairs.
I thought I was just too excited to have come early, yet Ola! Participants from different province under Central Visayas region are slowly coming with their luggage.
Hu! This is serious. Some traveled by sea and mostly are master teachers or should we say the best in their place!O my, I'll be joining the flocks of great people. I now actually got nervous on how to mingle with them for twelve days.
Actually, I was just approached a day before, got the travel order and off I went...(that's approved without thinking) All in my mind was to get set and be in the venue on time. So there!
Let's have a peep on day one,
In a while participants filled the room.

Then after the presentation of the speakers, a short break was declared. I thought there was nothing really heavy at day one. The whole morning was reserved for registration, accommodation, and presentation of house rules. We were actually planning with my newly met friend to go somewhere with the thought it would be the same in the afternoon. Yet, woah! The afternoon schedule was heavy. We were welcomed with a 20 item pre-test for only 30 minutes.
I wasn't able to take pictures, I was shocked for a while.
Boom! Almost all need long solution and the allotted time was very short. O my, was this karma? (if only my students saw my reaction, they would be laughing at me) As I was looking at the other participants they were dead serious. And the room was so silent that one can hear each other's breath. And when the facilitator signaled that time was almost up... pak! people were screaming as if our life was at stake, lol! O my, that feeling... tsk! tsk! Well anyway I have to keep going, tomorrow is another day. Aja!
