It is not such any mundane task that needs to be done just for the sake of getting done because we have to put food on the table. This "noble and spiritual task" involves putting every element you can think of into the food you're cooking, such as love, joy, happiness, service, generosity, appreciation. There's more to it than just merely combining all the ingredient. Every careful and meticulous process that is involved in producing such a delicacy and a work of art just shows how much love you give and then you feel a great sense of pride and satisfaction when you see or hear how much your food is appreciated.
