ULOG: #7 - Turning Limes To Smile
Yesterday I came back from a journey full of adventures 😂. Part of the adventure that I forgot to relate was that I had to trek about 2km because I was not having enough cash on me.
After I alighted from the train, I went to withdraw from the 🏧 ATM. I didn't know that the ATM had some funny plans for me. I couldn't withdraw because the little in my bank 💳 account because the ATM rejected my card severally telling me 'INVALID CARD'. I had to check my card's expiry date again though I knew it would be due by next year.
After confirming the date as valid, I realized I have been conscripted for military exercise by my the bank's ATM 😂. I trekked under the hot sun with my heavy bag on my back. It was really hard initially but with each step taken to the direction I was going, I started thinking why I didn't have multiple bank accounts from different banks.
At the end of the day, I got home super tired from the military exercise and my body confessed.
Today however, I rushed to my bank to enquire what could be wrong with my ATM card but before I went to meet the customercare desk, I tried the card and I was able to withdraw without stress.

After I used the ATM to withdraw, I couldn't help but wonder what happened yesterday It was then I concluded that the bank I used their ATM had funny plans for non customers accessing their ATM.

My friend @kamchore once got his card captured by atm machine and he literally had to pledge his watch to borrow some money for the bus ticket... Lolzzz
Sorry you had to go through that stress @emjoe. Thank God you learnt from that experience that it is better to have more than one credit card when going out especially when embarking on a journey. Look at the bright side, you got to do some body exercise. lol

Sometime it happens, i remember same case happened with me. I needed of money urgently but my card was rejected every time i tried to make a withdraw. Then i took a borrow from my friend and used it. later i returned him his money which i took from him as a loan. But i was laughing 😁 at that time. But the most beautiful thing was that the situation was handelled with no worries.

Maybe, the card did not have anything and as you are one of the best clients that the bank has and that is why they need to see you, to know that you are fine hahaha.
