Taking care of Fruit Trees - Hugelkultur process and processing! - Trees are the Answer - Video Ulog #4
Working with nature - and not against it! The work never stops, although in cold climates it does tend to pause a bit for the winter. We are finishing some work, fencing in some fruit trees to protect them through the winter and next spring from hungry deer looking to browse. Have anything you want deer, but not our apple buds!
As we were working on this, I realized that with three fruit trees in three different points of hugelkultur processing, I had a wonderful opportunity to show you all about hugelkultur. There is more to say, and I should do a complete write up some day. But until then, enjoy this video!
There is a lot of steem work to do - we want to get deeper into the ulog community, launch our own contest, participate in some of the exciting new dtubesnap contests, do our permaculture documentation, and activate some of our alternate accounts like @birdland, @coffeesource.net and @ecoinstats. There is a lot to do - but at least life doesn't ever get boring!

Heh. That's some serious work and effort to protect an Apple Tree, but if you like your apples then I suppose building a wood moat is the way to go.
I love the way you phrase it! A wood moat is exactly the hugelkultur ideal! Hopefully we will finish the third tree before we leave :)

I love plants and trees and I want to care more for them. I have a little garden with a huge apple tree and two huge cherry trees. I think I need to do something with them but I don't know what haha. Will check that out in the next couple of days.

Hi family, note that the whole ecosystem for the Teardrops SMT will be built around "certified uloggers".
