A little present for me!
I am having quite the little storehouse of Steemit treasures accumulating! Some are gifts that were little surprises that made their way across the sea, across the country - to my little house on the mountain. Some are little delights that I've purchased from friends - to support them in their businesses!
Unboxing my special treat!
As
@ecoinstant pointed out in a comment on my last post, sometimes money is so tight that we're not able to do that. I completely understand that! More than understanding - I have LIVED it, in seasons where we had to live very frugally. I don't mean to guilt anyone into supporting your friends if you are having trouble supporting your family! My post is only meant to encourage you all to set aside little bits of money, (only if you can) so that when you have the opportunity to bless a friend - you can!
My latest treasure!
A most special cutting board!
As many of you know - I hate sharks. I'm terrified of them. The phobia got so severe at one point that I was literally terrified to swim in the deep end of the pool! I thought a shark would swim up through the drain and eat me.
Yeah. Well, it's a phobia! It's supposed to be irrational!
But... though I distinctly hear the JAWS theme whenever I get too far out in the waves, the ocean still has a magical effect on me. I love it. Absolutely entranced by it. A little over a week ago,
@bluefinstudios posted this picture, and I was completely mesmerized. I love many of his photographs, but this one was really special. Those rolling clouds just seem to be pulling me into the scene!
See the etching on the glass? I love how it makes the cutting board look like the sun is glinting off the waves. It's a particularly neat effect on this image!
Here is the original photo!
If you'd like your own print of any of his exquisite
"Around Truro" photographs,
go take a look at his website or click on the image above! His prints make beautiful cards!
(I know - I have two of them!)

What an absolutely beautiful photo from @bluefinstudios... which makes that cutting board extra super special!!! AWESOME!
yeah!!!! it really does! having presents from friends are so special <3
(like a certain skull and crossbone silver I have from a certain silver queen) hehehehehe
I love you! Sorry if my comment was a little over the top, maybe I was feeling really frugal in that moment... c;
This is an amazing piece of art!
oh I didn't think it was over the top at all! It made me think about how right you are. We have been in that place before too - and I didn't want my statement to come across as insensitive to people who couldn't afford to support friends!
I wanted to make sure that I stated it in THIS post hehehehe
and isn't it so beautiful??? and now I can see it everyday in my kitchen! :) You should click around (even just to peek) at the photos he has in his "Around Truro" collection! He has SO MANY collections (just click on the "all photographs" link under photos to be taken back to the main heading... but wow!!!! Around Truro has some VERY special shots! that @bluefinstudios can take a great photo, that's for sure hehehehehe
I love this one mostest:
And I cannot forget that support comes in many ways, only some of it financial. But financial support does mean a lot to those who depend on sales to continue living their dream :)
I really enjoyed that one too @ecoinstant but the more I saw - the more I loved the next one! hahahahaha I'm going to suggest to @bluefinstudios that he put together a sampler pack of greeting cards - blank inside - so that people can enjoy and share 20 or so of his prints!!!! :)
they are just beautiful! I have 2 of his cards but they're so pretty i have a hard time giving them away hahahahahaha so.... maybe if i had a multi-pack, I'd be more inclined to share LOLOLOL
and yes - you're so right!
when I had a very low upvote (and I do once again have a very low upvote due to delegation hahaha) I felt bad because I felt like if i didn't have an upvote that mattered.... then I couldn't show my support.
but COMMENTS are not financial at all - but they are MORE meaningful to me when someone leaves me a good comment!
like yours!
not only did you leave a comment - but you sent a picture of what touched you about bluefin's site! meaning you took the time to actually go see it!!!! that means way more than financial support - right???? does to me!
hehehehehe thanks for brightening my day! you truly did :)
The landscape is breathtaking! And I love how it was turned into a great present :)
Yes!!!! it now sits on my counter like a little piece of art! :)
Oh my goodness, how beautiful! That's a lovely way to enjoy a piece of our lovely Blue's talent every single day. What a fab idea! (Am now off to stalk his website ;) )

Oh! when you click on "all photographs" then each photo is a picture for a new folder...
my favorite ( so far) is Around Truro! hehehehehe
hope you find something awesome!!!
When payday comes, I'm going to have a LOT of fun ;)
i'm trying to convince him to do a greeting card pack - where for a set price you can get like... an assortment that you love :)
wouldn't that be so cool???
I'd be on one of those straight away! I use so many greeting cards :)
Good to get some surprise @dreemsteem picture perfect with that image...great shot👍

Now it's on my counter looking like a beautiful little photo!!! and the texture from the glass is so pretty on it!
I haven't used it to chop anything on it yet! ahahahahaha I'm not afraid to use it - but... i just haven't had the reason to use it yet! LOL
That is lovely! It would be fun to go there and see some of his neighborhood in person!
You know Iam 50 and still going in a big empty pool at the deep end still feels weird. Not saying I panic but still think about jaws. I know, crazy lol
Anyway thanks for the post @dreemsteem

YESSSSSSSSSSS i am so glad that someone else feels that way too!!! :)
no panic (but.... jaws for sure!)
