ULOG #13: Pedaling and camping in Canaima National Park Venezuela.
After filming many hours in the vehicle, climb a large mountain and pass the military checkpoint you can say, get to the Gran Sabana, now camping and get comfortable and then go exploring on the bike. This is a summary of what I experienced on my trip to Canaima National Park or La Gran Sabana and I share it for you and all the friends of #ULOG and @surpassinggoogle @teardrops in my publication today.
Start the adventure by bike!
The adventure begins after we set up the camp and the first thing I did after this, together with my wife, was to assemble the bicycles, fill the tires and organize the bags to go on a bike trip. Although it had rained a day before and we found roads full of mud, this was not an impediment to go out to explore waterfalls and beautiful landscapes of the national park.
Something that I must note is that the distances between waterfalls and waterfalls were very distant, so in many cases we had to travel several kilometers in the vehicle, park in some camp and then continue on bicycles until the falls, but it was always worth it do the tour as all the landscapes will be really beautiful. Of course, in each place we arrived, we took advantage of the opportunity to rest, bathe and take some refreshment to recover the energy lost in the pedaling.
The water in these waterfalls is very cold, but although in this area it is cold during the night, high temperatures of about 35 ° C can be reached, so taking a dip in these waters is a delight, but, if You must wait for a moderate time to rest and cool your body before you sambullirte and enjoy the currents of the river.
But not the whole trip was pedaling!
And well after each tour, it's time to relax listening to good music and cooking on the grill with my wife and friends who are made in the camps. Certainly this type of activities do not please everyone, there are those who prefer the cities and their polluted air for holidays, but I love this time close to nature appreciating the beautiful landscapes that God created for us to enjoy. But like any lover of outdoor activities I always give my final recommendations and this is to preserve these spaces being conservationists and ecologists, so that our children can enjoy them in the future too. Without more to add for today, I say goodbye, wishing you all a happy and blessed day!
