#ulog Day 45: Rejie and Leorae's Wedding :)

in #ulog6 years ago (edited)

A wedding is a very sacred event of a couple's life. There are a lot of sacrifices and a lot of struggles that the couple have gone through before they will get to that very wonderful moment. :)

Rejie and Leorae, the Bride and Groom, have been really planning to get married a long time ago but, they didn't have money to be able to get a church wedding and the Groom also didn't want to have a civil wedding because he wants to have a church wedding and have a blessing from the church and from God. :) They already have 2 kids but still, a wedding is just a once in a lifetime moment and a very special one.

This was supposed to be a mass wedding but I guess, this is just an answered prayer to their prayers. :) Because, everything just went well. They were just the only one who registered for the mass wedding, the people who worked for the decoration also found time to be able to finish everything. :)

So, what am I waiting for?? Let me bring you back to Rejie and Leorae's wedding :)

THE DECORATION :)

THE CANDLE LIGHTING :)

To start the ceremony, the candle sponsors are asked to light the candles. Because in the beginning, God created light. And this candle is a symbol of light. Hoping that this candle will bring light to them as they go along with their journey. :)

THE ENTOURAGE :)

First, the officiating minister...

Followed by the veil and cord sponsors..

Followed by the principal sponsors..

Followed by the parents of the Groom.

And then, the Groom himself :) :)

Followed by the little kids who were there to throw some petals to the aisle for the bride to walk on :)

And of course, to complete the entourage, here comes the Bride together with her parents :)

And of course, i really didn't lose the chance fo capture that perfect emotion of the groom while he is watching and waiting for her bride at the altar :)

Just look at his smile, the teary eyes, and the way he looks at her. He really seem so in love and it seems like the first time he saw her. :)

Aweeee <3 I wonder how that moment feels like. :)

The groom then went to his Bride and showed respect to her parents and then, lead her to their respective chairs in front. :)

THE RING CEREMONY :)

And then, followed by the ring ceremony :) The bride and the groom shared their vows to each other and giving the symbol of their love to each other which is, the rings :)

THE VEIL AND CORD CEREMONY :)

The veil is put in the bride's head and to the groom's shoulders. This symbolizes that the woman should really be the one to submit to her husband and they should always be transparent to each other.

The chord symbolizes unity that together, in every situation life will bring to them, they will be there as one. :)

I really didn't get to have much photos in the reception because I am on of the emcees. Hehe :) So here are some of the photos that I got :)

Tears has really filled the whole event because most of the couple's families and as well as the couple shed tears. :'( They probably got touched because of all the effort we gave and also maybe because they got carried away with their emotions. :) The groom has really been crying from the moment he step at the church until the reception. Haha :D

BEHIND THE SCENES :)

It took us two weeks to be able to have this decoration possible. We took a lot of time to make the paper flowers for the letters. :)

And look what I got!!!

Yup, i got my thumb burned because of the stick glue. It really hurts so bad and it does looks so bad :( But still, I am happy I am one of those people who have made their dreams come true. :)

This wedding is also a very special wedding for me because as I have said, this is the first wedding I have attended that I have helped working with the decorations, I have been a photographer, an usherette, and an emcee on the reception. HAHA :D :D

It was so so FUN and I could really feel the love in the atmosphere. :) :)

NOTE: All photo are mine and are also posted on my facebook account :) :)
