ULOG 4: Praying Sketch by @bxlphabet
This is one of a series of sketches @bxlphabet has that were done without looking at the paper as he worked from a live model. Some of them were very successful and I think this one qualifies is that category.
I see this sketch as a person praying. I’m not sure he would agree but he is not available to give me his point of view.
My son was very serious about our church and religion when he was young. One time he was telling me something about his Sunday School class and I made a comment referring to what he was saying as a Bible story. He said, “It’s not a story, Mom. It is the word of God” and was quite appalled I had made this mistake.
Now I do not know how he feels about God. I fear he has lost his faith. But I know it is there and will arise when he needs it. All I can do is pray and I pretty much do that with every breath I take.
