I think the main thing working against witness voting is that people just don't realise that it is there... It is hidden away in the side bar along wit the FAQ and other stuff which doesn't really get noticed in the everyday posting and commenting and walleting of Steem!
Or they have no idea what they do. The things they do for the platform as a whole. A lot of their work is behind the scene.
It takes some work to find out. Just like everything here.
