When the gloves are on its all about who is better!

I think that's only the case for the new entries ( i am talking only about mma now). The ones that hold titles are the most known only care about the money. The whole process before and after the match is just a good marketing theatrical approach to gain more publicity and earn more. The fights at least a bunch of them aren't fake or staged like in other sports but i think they just don't care that much about the winner.

The entries on the other hand care a lot cause they wanna earn more fame, maybe they believe in fighting dream but soon enough they become on with the system. One of the few for me that was a genuine guy was fedor emelianenko, he didn't speak a lot, he didn't give a fuck about the provocations and all and was just focus on the fight

i don't know how else to put it :P

Compared to other martial arts i think this industry is dedicated way more to entertainment and money that the actual art of fighting. i don't mean to say that they aren't working out, training or want to fight but the more i watch the more "fake" it seems. When i say fake i don't mean that much staged but they put up a whole show to gather people and more money like very good marketeers and sales people.

Making money is good and they should be rewarded for it but i am against the huge amounts of money they gain like floyd and conor earn, especially compared to other people offering way more to society. It is what it is though both this industry and the world, when i watch ufc i skip all these trash talk and try watching fights and fighters that look more "serious" than others. Aside from that i prefer other types of martial arts
