Do we need yet more signs

You may see cool looking people cycling, skating etc on city sidewalk among pedestrians on TV and movies and that is exactly what is wrong with the image. It is very dangerous to be doing that. There should be ads showing kids killed/injured instead.

Just today I was in a bus that is turning right in rush hour out of a station form a dead stop. Bus driver had to slam on the breaks to avoid hitting a skateboard kid zipping past the intersection from sidewalk to sidewalk. Kudos to the bus driver that didn't hit the kid. Kid would have fallen onto major road and since it is rush hour congestion probably will not be hit a second time.

Yes very common so far and most passengers just felt a jerk, unfortunately one lady that happen to be on her way up the 2 steps towards the end of the bus fell and hit her head and had to be carried off by an ambulance. I wish her a speedy recovery.

Being the biggest city of Canada, there really isn't enough education on respect others and sharing the road. There are bad drivers, bad cyclists and pedestrian crossing where ever they like.
Oh well Mayor Tory makes a lot of noise and do little. No enforcement at least where people can notice of getting cyclist and skateboarder etc off the sidewalk and no sign. In fact most probably don't know the law has changed that it is illegal for anyone over the age of 14 to be on a bicycle on the sidewalk. Yes including grandma on her trike going to shop at the supermarket.
