Congrats to @dranuvar for winning the October 23 Twenty-Four Hour short story contest
Hey Everyone!
Some great stories this week. This week had fewer entries with four, so everyone got something. My prompt was probably a little difficult, not sure where it came from. I think I may have read it from somewhere. But doing this week in and week out, every prompt isn't going to connect.
But there were still solid stories this week.
So let's get to it.
Five Steem to dranuvar for Falling, an almost Stephen King like story as to why the colors change in the fall.
Three Steem to jmvanbreda for The Red Forest, a solid literary explanation of the changing colors. Note how he opens straight with dialog, a good opening.
One Steem to bohemian.machine for Eater of Autumn, a wonderful sci-fi entry. Love the way he breaks the story into Days.
Honorable Mention to shemzy for Terror in the dark room, a story about a scientist and what happened with his mom.
Thanks again everyone!
A new contest will be up soon!
Congrats to everyone! I'm very pleased with the outcome.
Congratulations to the winners!! ^ - ^
well, this was a surprise. All entries were very good, would read them again. Congratulations to all!
