In my opinion "CryEngine" is a pretty good engine, too. But it costs €50 /mo.. Still a great choice with nice support and a big marketplace!
CryEngine is good engine but in my opinion have bad documentation. For totally beginners in my opinion unity and unreal Engine is better. Engine is only tools to make games. Large companies have their own engines
Yes, that's true, advanced users should try it.
