This post is a follow-up discussion yesterday about how to create bold text and italic (emphasis) text, if you have not and want to know how can read here.
Well, let's go directly to the topic of this discussion. Each person has its own characteristic and its own writing style. But although different methods are in use remain the same, such as how to use the list for our writing. Here in general there are two kinds of list models used: the first is the numeric list and the second bullet list.
Numeric (numbering) list
** Numeric (numbering)** is to assign numbers or numbers to the paragraphs so that the text will appear in order of the desired numbering. Numbering is also not only a decimal number but also a roman number and others.
How to create a numeric (numbering) list using markdown:
First use the number (1,2,3) or it can be replaced with the alphabet (a, b, c) and do not forget to use the dot ( . ).
After that press the space and then enter the text or posts that will be loaded, for more clearly see in the picture.
Header Numeric (numbering) list
If you want to create some headers and want to combine with numebering list. We just need to add the hashtag ( # ) symbol at the beginning, and follow by the number / alphabet (same way to create the numbering list) and write the title you want to create. For more details see the following picture:
Bullet list
Bullets are functions that provide bullets or circles on each paragraph before our writing.
There are several ways to create a bullet list (actually the same way just a different symbol used) using markdown. As follows:
First use the asterisk symbol ( * ) then press space and enter the text we will create.
The second and third way is also the same as the first one but the asterisk symbol is replaced with a minus symbol ( - ) and plus symbol ( + ) then a space and write the text to be created. For details see the picture below :
That's an easy way to create a bullet list. Unlike numbering lists that can be combined with header styles, in bullet lists we can not combine them with header styles. That's the discussion this time but specially for you I added one trick that might be useful. Check this out :
Multilevel list
Multilevel List is a list of many levels. A multilevel list can use bullet, letter, number or combination.
How to create a multilevel list is very easy, you just combine all the methods in making numbering and bullet list. But to be able to make it there is a special trick, that is after you make a numbering list (with the text written) then press enter and then press the space then followed by the method of making bullet list. For more details see the following picture:
Well, now you can apply this way (numbering and bullet list) into the content you create. I hope this tutorial is useful for you beginners who are still strange with the markdown and can help you to produce a better writing style and with your own characteristics. Good luck and success always for you, wait for the next post because there are other tutorials that may be very useful or at least be a solution for you beginners like me. Cheers!
