The last thing I wanted to do with my evening is put a turtle out of its misery at the end of my driveway because some ass ran him over and he was dying slowly and painfully on the side of the road.

He was a pretty big guy, the road is straight and flat, and it's a sunny day. There's zero excuse for hitting him other than carelessness or outright malice.

He would have been super easy to avoid.
