Did Trybe.one Just Blow Steem Away?
You may call me a quiter, (It wouldn't be the first time. I quit BUD/s class 246 in the second week.) but making money on Steemit is hard work. Posting HTML friendly posts which are billangual (English and Thai) would seem like a slam dunk for making money here, but since May 2018, I've earned maybe $100 and actually less because I invested $1,000 of Bitcoin into Steem.
In a way I've already quit Steem because after earning $1,000 on Trybe.one, it seems pointless writing articles to Steemit only to earn $0.02, so I've just been logining everyday just to resteeming something interesting just to keep subscribers growing. I guess I still have some faith and belief in Steem, but it feels more and more like I'm logging into Myspace when everyone is on Facebook already.
Trybe is new and it seems like in 2018 the best way for IPOs to gain traction is to dish out free coins for new users. Trybe gives you 100 coins just for signing up and 50 for friends who sign up from your referral link directly or if they sign up after reading your post which was shared on Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, or Reddit. When people like your article it doesn't matter if they are a whale or not.
I've made more money today on Trybe than I have on Steemit in over 100 days and I've put in way less effort into it. Trybe pays 10 tokens just for loging in. As of writing this one token is worth fifty cents, so you get $50 just to sign up and $5 everytime you login (within a 24 hour period.) You are reading this on Steemit, so I'm asking fellow Steemians, Why stick with Steem?

Trybe tokens are worth 10 cents? How do you know? I read they can be converted to EOS but I don't know how to do it and don't think I even can do it yet since I don't have an EOS account.
Everything is still in beta. Hell, even this, Steemit is still in beta. I've collected thousands of coins just writting articles on Trybe, then sharing on Steemit, Twitter, Facebook, and Reddit. Trybe makes it super easy. After your article gets published, there will be four icons for the top social media sites and with one click you can share. Most of my tokens have been earned this way because when you sign up to Trybe.one, you get 100 free tokens. Trybe will make it easy to do soon. Right now, they are just testing the waters and seeing what people want and what works best.
You haven't tried trading any Trybe tokens for EOS?
They don't have a wallet function yet. Things are just getting started, but already superior to Steemit.

That's just for now while it's in beta. There are only a few people on Trybe.one right now and we're all cryptolifers, but they will expand the site to make Steemit look like Myspace soon. I honestly don't give a shit about people's crappy poems or pictures anyways. It's nice to see an EOS focused site with quality information. There is just too much bullshit with Steemit. Whales, bots, and shitty articles.
Yeah I am waiting for someone who is invested in the Ono site to notify me when it's up and running, suppose to run more like a FB platform, I think that will do a lot better. I am one to enjoy a variety of stuff so it does't matter if it's high quality or someone shooting a funny meme or a odd shot of a friend doing something silly. If it holds your attention to read it, vote it, if it makes you laugh, vote it, if it pulls at your heartstrings, vote it....that's my take, let people be their natural selves, everyone will fall into the proper perspective of where they should be with all given a opportunity to prospers.
@teachinthai, how do you know what the equivalent USD is for each Trybe token?
Actually, now that you ask that, I realized I made a mistake. It's about 10 cents. It's on EOS exchanges like dexeos.io even though I was off by a factor of 5. Trybe is still the shit.
