The Government Isn't In Bed With Big Business, The Government IS Big Business

WE WANT YOU TO BUY.jpg

I have heard it said many a time — including from my own lips — that the government is in bed with big business. Recently, however, as I have grown older, and as my understanding of the world has improved, I have begun to suspect that our perception of these entities as being separate from one another has been manufactured.

The predominant sentiment among dissenters is that the government serves the interests of corporations, primarily through bribes and the likes. There is also the revolving door that transports leaders from the corporate world into positions in government, and vice versa. It seems that big business operatives are often invited to work for the bodies that are supposed to be regulating the very industry they emigrated from, and politicians who serve the needs of the corporations well are often offered high-ranking positions in fortune 500 companies once they leave the government. It is beyond evident that the government has become corrupt to its very core, so we must ask ourselves;

At what level of infiltration does the government become nothing more than an extension of big business itself?

I would say that moment arises when businesses gains the power to influence legislation. So, given that we have now reached a point where big business does not only influence legislation, but dictates it, I hope we can all agree that the government has been infiltrated completely.

Why do our children have to wake up early to go to school for most of the day?

Besides the obvious indoctrination into a society of seemingly immortal immorality, we are schooled, specifically during these hours, as a means of programming us into a life of working 9-5. The last thing the corporations want is competition, so better that you be conditioned to wake up early every morning and be a good employee, than learn how to build a corporation of your own.

But of course, the public education system is a government — not corporate —body, and it has been around for many, many decades. I believe we can use the inception of the public school system to establish a rough timeline for when the corporations began to govern the people.

By definition, those who govern the people, are the government.

In the last couple decades, we have seen the implementation of more new laws than we would have if we had lived through the two centuries prior to the new millennium. But where are these new laws coming from, who is developing them, and who are they meant to serve?

Well, it is certainly not the people. Anyone who has been paying even a modicum of attention in recent years will know that with each new law, the rights of the average citizen become less and less. The opportunities for the common man to better his circumstances become rarer and rarer. And the chances of completing the journey through life comfortably becomes slimmer and slimmer.

This is because laws are no longer meant to protect us. They are now simply mechanisms imposed to make us better consumers, better citizens, and ultimately, far worse people. There is of course the plethora of laws passed each week that are purely to protect the current monolithic system of corporate governance, but any laws implemented to actually help the people, are far too rare and often superseded by a later, more secretive law that didn't get any media attention.

As we speak, there are a number of corporate lawyers, drawing up new pieces of legislation that they will later lobby for before congress, more likely than not —successfully. These laws will no doubt empower big business further, and not be beneficial for the people.

Has it all been an act?

If we decide to see big business and government as one in the same, we then must consider if every "Google VS Government" type situation that we have seen on the corporate "news" has merely been theatre. Are we as a society ready to know that our supposedly elected bodies —the ones that are supposed to protect us from the dangers of unchecked corporations — are actually just agents of that danger in its now manifested form?

Along comes Donald Trump..

Ready or not, we may just be growing closer to the unmasking of that very truth. Donald Trump — a big business figure —has just become the newest president of the United States, and so far, he seems to be doing just as shit a job as every other president ever did. Could this be the first hint? Has Trump and his hand-picked administration — that is composed of mostly banking and corporate leaders — been put in place to show us that big business and government is so interwoven and connected, that anyone who has worked in the higher echelons of business and finance, are automatically qualified to work as a politician?

If they are, then perhaps that is because the job roles are near identical. Perhaps, whether you work for a bank, a corporation, or a government, your job is the same — to devise new methods of extracting wealth from the poor, and redirecting it to the insanely wealthy.

Final thought..

There may well have been a clue hidden in plain sight, that we have ignorantly overlooked for far too long. If it is government that rules over us, and not big business, then why do the enforcers of law bear the title of "Police Officers?"

"Police" is clearly a derivative of the word "policy," and policy, is something you find in a corporation.

Great write up that deserves more than 50 views / reads - resteemed for you!

Thanks, mate! It did take me a while to put it in writing, so I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Great article amigo,
First let me say the word Government is made up of two words govern is to control and ment is a Greek for mind, so it actually means mind control.
Schooling is not so much about teaching our children HOW to think but more about WHAT to think, 2+2 really is 3.
As for the GFC in 2008 was really the final play in the fascist take over where state and corporation merged, creating corporatocracy, but is should be call kakistocracy which means a state or country run by the worst, least qualified, or most unscrupulous citizens. The word was coined by English author Thomas Love Peacock in 1829.
And finally Benjamin Franklin once said
Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.
Promoted amigo, this is great.

I know much of what you speak. It would appear we must have similar avenues of interest in terms of where our research leads us.

I think you may be right too, about the kakakistocracy.

Well done.
While I was looking for a paper Howie wrote about inheritance, I found a couple of others that you will definitely find interesting. He says you are free to use it, or write your own with the material in it which contains plenty of references. It all pertains to this road you're on, I'm putting it in chat for you. I believe your brother will also benefit from it, so pass it along to him if you want.

Cheers. I'll check it out in a little bit. Tell your husband thank you as well for me.

It is always about fighting with sick system. The question is how to cure?

That's an answer I wish I had for you. But, unfortunately.. I do not. Not yet, anyway.

Another really good post bro!

This video is a of a John Harris presentation on common law in which he also discusses the listing of government departments and political parties AS registered companies and corporations with Dun and Bradstreet. Definitely worth a watch!!

Thanks, Tony. I have seen this one before actually, but it has been a while so I might give it a second look to remind myself. I remember there was some interesting and useful information in it. Cheers for linking it.

I began reading The Origins of the Federal Reserve by Murray Rothbard just yesterday. It gives a timeline for when Big Business actually took control.

Years ago I asked google who owned the Federal Reserve. It's been down the rabbit hole ever since for me. Nothing is as it seems.

Once you wake up to this reality you wonder how you missed it for so long, most people are still asleep.
