Trump And The Great Google Search Hack

Cambridge Analytica are the data company said to have been behind Brexit and Donald Trump's successful 2016 presidential campaign.

They achieved these successes by creating a huge data mining/manipulation algorithm which then identified potential disgruntled voters and created millions of personalised adverts that they and they alone saw.

In this respect you may call Cambridge Analytica masters of the digital dark arts, to say they know their stuff is a sweeping understatement.

Google Hack

Around a couple of months ago, Boris Johnson who has since become the unelected Prime Minister of Britain, gave a strange interview where he babbled on about how he likes to build model busses.

At the time people thought it was strange because the interview he was giving was completely unconnected with this trivial subject.

Then somebody worked it out, he was Google 'search hacking'.

You see the thing is that Boris Johnson was involved in a rather whopping lie during the UK's Brexit referendum.

Johnson drove around on a large red bus which claimed that the United Kingdom gives £350,000,000(million) to the EU every week.

This statement is a complete and utter lie, and had the Brexit referendum been a legally binding one. Johnson would have faced jail for endorsing it.

However the referendum was non-binding, therefore he got away with lying through his teeth. This though was not enough for the ex Etonian, because whilst he was campaigning to become leader of the Conservative party and therefore PM, Johnson was clearly told by Cambridge Analytica that the top Google searches involving his name were 'Boris Johnson bus'.

So by babbling on about model busses, he took the rather inconvenient fact that Boris Johnson is an insincere liar off the top of the Google searches.

Trump Dump

So it appears that a certain Mr D. Trump has had similar advice. Yesterday he sent a tweet that implied that the Clintons were involved in the Billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein's murder.

We have become accustomed to Trump's wacky tweets, so perhaps this one too would go unnoticed.

However this had a different flavour, this was a direct accusation in a fresh case that definitely has not been proved as murder yet.

Con-spiracy Game

If you are a follower of QAnon and/or a deep state conspiracist, then you fully go along with Trump's accusation of the Clintons and believe that the President had little or nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein.

However if you are anyone else, then it is likely upon hearing the two knew each other, that you have Googled 'Trump Epstein connection', or words to that effect. Which up until now have yielded the story of when Donald Trump called Epstein a terrific guy.

Upon yesterday's release of the previously sealed court documents, the Trump-Epstein google search revealed stories about the President's past relationship with Epstein, including at least one flight on Epstein's private plane dubbed Lolita Express.

That is until Trump sent his tweet. Now the first page of Google is talking about how Trump tweeted about Clinton's connection to Epstein.

Interesting.

Google search hack or complete coincidence?

Only time, and maybe not even that, will tell.

One thing is for sure though, the court documents which still have thousands of pages left to be released, will make very interesting reading indeed.
