Binance powered up customer funds and voted in their own witnesses so they can give the STEEM blockchain to Justin.
Witnesses agreed to freeze the ninjamined stake with a soft fork last week, in order to facilitate a discussion with the new steemit.com owner.
JSon didnt like that. He considered it a malicious act, and borrowed steem from his exchange friends, powered them up and used them to vote in new witnesses, essentially taking over the chain.
He said he's ready to talk. But He'll also be reducing powerdown time to 3 days, and will keep the chain this way for a few weeks.
No one is happy about this move. While it seems like retaliation, it goes against the principles of decentralization.

I know, brotha. Seems we were fighting a losing battle all along but that is not so say we didn't take valuable things from the experience specifically lessons, skills and most importantly building relationships.
Concerning time and monetary returns, we all lose compared to those shitbirds out there. Doesn't mean we can't have the last laugh though.
(Doesn't necessarily need to be on this chain.. as a matter of fact, if the broader Steem community doesn't more appropriately appraise what we do / support accordingly (100k SP minimum), I can guaran-damn-tee I will build the full vision elsewhere.
