We've all made mistakes and have had bad moments. We've all tried a new project and have failed to see it succeed.

When you consistently take action - each and every day - then you're taking as many chances at bat as you possibly can.

The more times that you step up to the plate, the better you'll get at hitting home runs.

Consistency is everything. Whether you're trying to cultivate new habit like reading or start a new business or project... the more consistent you are, the more successful you will become.

When you constantly look in the rear view mirror, you'll miss what's right in front of you.

What's right in front of you are opportunities, relationships and the path to success. You won't get there by being blind to it.

With that said, keep a healthy idea of what happened in the past - learn to pull from your past experiences to help guide you to make better present decisions.

But don't be so caught up in what happened yesterday that you can't see what's happening today and tomorrow. The present moment is the most important.
