The Scenic Hachiman-bori Canal with Cherry Blossoms
Hello everyone,
This week was the last chance to see cherry blossoms. I took the train about 75 minutes from Osaka to Omihachinan and headed to Hachiman-bori canal by bus around 10 minutes. It isn't well known amongst Japanese people so this spot wasn't crowded.
The cruise is offered in spring and summer. You can relax and watch the stunning scenery and great atmosphere along the way. Also, there is traditional Japanese architecture by the canal.
This canal is 5 kilometers long so it’s great to take a cruise with an excellent view. The cost is 1,000 yen/ person.
Beside the canal are restaurants and sweet and souvenir shops. After enjoying the magnificent cherry blossoms, you can visit the restaurants and do some shopping too.

I am really enjoying this post. I saw a review on @shortsegments blog, so I came to check it out.
It looks like the stuff dreams are made of; gliding along the surface of the water in that boat, admiring these trees filled with cherry blossom flowers, enjoying the aroma of the flowers and hopefully taking it all in with someone special. Because the greatest things in life are better when shared right?

This is pretty cool. I like Cherry Blossoms. I was in Japan a year ago, but at Christmas time. It was my first trip and I loved it. I certainly understand why you love to travel! Thanks for the tip about this tour! I will add it to my list of places to go!
