To see Burj Khalifa, more pockets will be empty, this has become costlier due to Dubai
If you are also planning to travel to Dubai, you may need to empty the pocket a bit more to see the Burj Khalifa. Actually, the New Year will be expensive in the entire UAE. With the lack of oil in the UAE, its meaning is weakening, so the government is increasing VAT tax of 5 per cent on goods and services. After which the travel of UAE will be expensive for the Indians. There are many such Indians who celebrate New Year celebrations visiting these places. Now, due to VAT tax, there will be an additional burden of 6-8 per cent on their pockets.
In the UAE, there were 5.3 million international tourists in 2016, out of which 1.8 crore tourists came from India. Traveling through Mumbai and Delhi, people travel most of the UAE from India. UAE has been the center of attraction for Indians and there is a possibility of more than 10 lakh Indians coming to Dubai this year.
With the extra VAT tax, your pocket will get a heavy burden of 6 to 8 per cent i.e. if you spend a lakh rupees now you will have to spend more than 8000 rupees now.Read more:
The UAE government has also included property tax in VAT tax. Accordingly, people who purchase new properties will have to pay more taxes from the new year, which would be costly to buy a house.
