Moving from the city mind set to our homestead we have lost all of our "acquaintances" too. I feel so much better now that only meaningful people are in my life and I am more easily able to recognize true connections. It's great to have made a connection with you!
Ahhh yes, a lot of the "friends" we think we have are really acquaintances when it comes down to the decisions we make that matters. I agree that I like it better now than before.
