Thank you for sharing this animated drawing with us, as to your question, considering that this creature lives in water and obviously can breath there as well as he must be a good swimmer, I would suggest to give him a name “Ichthyander” as ichthyoids is characteristic of fish. You presented very well the environment where it lives with a lot of different creatures and in animation that looks really exciting to see how they are swimming. Great creation, good luck with contest!

This specie is so special that I can't think of a name right for it right now :) But I hope it lives really deep in the sea as I wouldn't like to come across it while swimming. But I also don't want to judge it as it might have a very nice character even though it looks a bit scary and creepy :)

I think there must be truly fantastic creatures we do not know. The depths of the sea are less known than space.
A bizarre creature that thrives under borderline high pressure environments. This creature knows how to stare through your soul sendin creeps to any diver it comes by. A myth among fishermen and can be mistaken for a mermaid for it's humanoid form .w.
Only a few managed to see this creature ... but even fewer are those who believe that what they saw was real. It would be a good hostory, right?
Definitely a legend worth hearing over a sailor's pub :D

Anyway, in my country we have a legendary being such as your drawing. It is like half human and half sea creature. And we call it Shokoy. Or in layman's term it is a merman.. not the handsome tyoe though.. hehe..
