[Stage1 completed] First Steem patch for a Trezor library has been merged. More to come
We (@xeroc, @svk, and @cass) are happy to announce that our friends from SatoshiLabs (the creators of the great Trezor Hardware wallet) have merged our first (rather simple) patch to integrated a crucial component to support Steem into Trezor.
Three more pull requests are currently pending:
Soon it will be possible to:
- Store an arbitrary amount of Steem account on trezor
- Transfer funds out of any of your (trezor-linked) accounts
- and all of this on a dedicated webpage
There are still some problems to be solved (besides funding) but we are confident to be able to present a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) soon to get some seed funding for further development.
Stay excited!

Thank you! This is a very important development from my perspective. I was an early purchaser of Trezors and received several of the first edition release. Trezor has been very useful to me. I really would also love to see it compatible with bitshares.
Very cool!
