For the past few months, rumors about the return of the MMORPG Legend "Ragnarok Online" circulated on the web.

Ragnarok Online, often referred to as RO, is a Korean MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) created by GRAVITY Co., Ltd. It was first released in South Korea on 31 August 2002. And lately became a hit worldwide including some countries on South-east Asia (SEA) region. This game also became the root of most of the MMORPG games like MU Online, RF Online, Flyff, Rose Online, RAN Online, CABAL Online and many more. Because of that, the population of the game Ragnarok Online slowly drops. Many MMORPG-gamers tend to switch games whenever there are new games with higher-graphics. That's the main reason why Ragnarok Online shuts down on the Philippines and merged it's servers with International Ragnarok Online(iRO) last April 2015.

The comeback.

Lately, rumors spread on the web that the Ragnarok Online Philippines will return. But now, with a totally new management. Game company Gravity signed licensing agreements with game publisher Electronics Extreme to the tune of $1 million US Dollars to bring back Ragnarok Online the Philippines as well as other Southeast Asian territories like Malaysia and Singapore.

Last June 29, 2017, Ragnarok Online Philippines made its successful comeback. Filipino players experienced the classic game-style of Philippine Ragnarok Online once again.
