That photo reminds me Christmas, possibly due to beautiful strong pine tree and the lights in this little town, looking at this picture makes someone to be there, to have a nice walk and then to rush home for hot tea/coffee. In right lower part, at mountain foot it looks like a lake, is it really a lake there or just snow that just looks a bit darker in evening hours?

In northern Norway, where I live, the winter last from november to May, often so long as mid may.

I agree that it is looks like a christmas card. It is probably just snow. In the mid section to the left you see the sea.
