This big old oak tree is out near the end of my driveway. There was a powerful storm last night that took down a lot of trees in town, and we were lucky that we had no damage just a few miles away.
This is one of the many trees down in my daughter's neighborhood. This maple tree damaged the neighbor lady's house when it fell.
Clean up crews worked long after dark last night.

Wow that's quite a serious snap on that tree. Lucky it missed the roof of the house. We had some windy weather last night too and it blew down the neighbors fence. More wind is on the way apparently.
They are predicting more thunderstorms for here, but at least it cooled it down a bit.
That's tree disadvantage, they spoil things whenever they Falls
They do make a big crash!

Does this maple tree damage her neighbor's house? are there any casualties? @melinda010100, probably because of the age factor of this old tree.
No one was hurt, most people had moved to safety. There was damage to the house and the roof. It was a strong wind.

Wow! I'm glad everyone is okay and your old oak tree is still standing! Looks like the neighbor's tree just snapped, I hardly see any of the root system. The wind scares the heck out of me when it gets really bad. We've had some good ones but have been lucky for the most part. Take care!!
Thar tree looks like it was twisted off. It looks like the threat of more storms has passed for now.
