Tree Tuesday - Hanging on for Dear Life

For @old-guy-photos #treetuesday photo challenge, I have a shot of a tree that is desperately hanging on to the bank of the river. The recent floods in Maryland have washed out the soil along the riverbank and this tree’s roots are exposed.

It doesn’t look like it will take much more before it is completely horizontal in the river.

            We’ve had severe flooding the last two years, so I suspect its lean is a recent situation.
