Can you actually get gum from a gum tree???

Not really, unless the tree is damaged somehow, then some of them release a gum type substance, but it's not edible. However, they extract Eucalyptus Oil from the leaves , and this is very useful for many things.

Australian aborigines have used eucalyptus for hundreds of years as a remedy for fever, wounds , coughs, asthma , and joint pain .

Very interesting. Here they grow lots of Eucalyptus trees for making into paper. Tea Trees oil are also from Australia?? Are they like the Eucalyptus? Do you also use it? It is quite popular in my country.

Have a good day!
Cheers.

Does it smell like eucalyptus chewing gum?

Yes, it probably would.

get to know few of the details about gum tree(Eucalyptus)

good post

Eucaliptus? So this is koala fav meal? Or chewing gum:)

Eucalyptus. Yes it's the Koala's diet, they eat the leaves.

Cool. Never seen it on picture. So koalas live too near you? Special animals.

They are very special animals, and endangered as well. Yes, there are Koalas around, but they are very hard to see during the day, they are asleep and high up in the trees.

So you can look and enjoy only metal koalas;)

Metal ones are great, but live ones are better.

True. As metal ones are made by the live one, not vice versa ;)
