Travel Tip: Sychrov Chateau, stunning example of Gothic Revival architecture

Welcome to my Travel Tip series where I promote some of the most beautiful places, interesting landmarks and impressive architectural sites of my homeland, the Czech Republic.
Today, I would like to take you to another beautiful Czech chateau, the famous Sychrov Chateau.

Located in the northern part of the country, some 16 km (10 mi) outside the city of Liberec, the Sychrov Chateau is a large chateau complex that was built in the second half of the 19th century.
Originally, a Gothic fortress was standing at the site of the chateau. However, the fortress was completely destroyed in a war and it was later turned into a Baroque chateau. The chateau was then reconstructed in the Classicistic style and, eventually, between 1847 and 1862, the noble Rohan family had it transformed into its current appearance of an opulent Gothic Revival chateau.

Open to public since 1950, the chateau hosts extensive collections of artworks, paintings, decorated glassware and much more. The park is surrounded by impressive, well-maintained parks that are home to trained birds of prey such as falcons, eagles and buzzards that perform tricks for visitors.
The majestic architecture of the chateau and the picturesque natural surroundings have inspired numerous artists, painters and composers in their work. The Schyrov Chateau also hosts several important annual cultural events and concerts.

A beautiful Sychrov chateau is about an hour from prague and so worth the trip! just beautiful.
The woodwork in the chateau is breath taking! All the portraits on the walls are originals, and in amazing condition. You really get a sense of how the nobility lived and festive atmosphere.
In the chateau's English park you can admire the kings of the sky: eagles,falcons, buzzards and owls, whose abilities will be demonstrated to you by an experienced falconer.

This chateau is really impressive on a large scale and beautiful dating very back in history and war, a marvelous reminder of the past and a beautiful example of architecture for the future.i wonder what kind of painting and arts are inside and what’s the interiors like, must be mind blowing. The fact that they train birds to entertain visitors by performing tricks is fascinating and thrilling, would definitely love to see that, what’s gothic fortress?, don’t know anything about this term. It is a beautiful castle that is definitely worth a visit. Beautiful is a castle garden with tall old trees. I have an idea that a various events take place at Sychrova. For example, pre-Christmas markets. I want to visit it and it's certain that i will not be disappointed.
