Sheepdog memorial, Lake Tekapo, New Zealand

This statue was erected at the lakefront in Tekapo to honour the contribution of Border Collies in New Zealand's farming revolution. Scottish shepherds introduced these canines in NZ when they came on pastoral runs to the South Island.
