Visited My Old Stomping Grounds

Well, not that old really, it's only been like 4 months. My mom, brother, and I took a day trip down to Monterey/Pacific Grove/Big Sur. It was a foggy day with overcast skies and cool temperatures, just my kind of weather. All the usual suspects were around as well as some new ones.

There was some other wildlife that I couldn't get very clear shots of including dolphins, sea lions, and a lot of different birds. All in all, a very good day for seeing wildlife. The pelicans were much more prevalent compared to when I was last in the area and there was also a lot more visible kelp.

I really missed that cool ocean breeze. We watched a lot of big waves breaking in Garrapata state park and there was hardly anyone around.
