There is supply of electricity from the school all the way down to the main village. Though the locals said that there is a more remote place about two hours hike from there and that is where there is no electricity.

The main village alone is already very remote so I take that yes, it is possible that the people there have experienced no electricity before lines were laid across the mountains.

The terraced walls are the most challenging to maintain with these rice terraces specially during rainy season when there can be landslides. I remember my father repairing the riprap when I was a child. It was hard looking for boulders and he did it all manually.

I hope the hike to Tappita Falls will be done this coming week. Let's see...
