Backpacking through South America

14 days of nature, peace and a foreign environment. That was the plan of my friends and me. If you are free at the same time, you can do something together. Said - done. After we three had discussed where we wanted to go, the flight was already booked.
The distant vastness of the South American jungle and the almost forgotten places, in this region, we were really taken with it.

That's why the plan was to fly to Peru. From there we continued to Bolivia and finally to Columbia, from where we started our journey home.
14 days, a tight schedule. 4.5 days per place. But it was worth it. We hiked as far as we could and slept over this time in our tents.
Technology is almost useless in such places, because if we had at least 2 hours Internet, we were already the happiest people under this sun. But it was worth it. South America offers a wonderful spectacle of nature.
With our backpacks on our backs we went through the landscape during the day. We had specially joined a group, even if the nature seems almost untouched here, nevertheless, many tourists come here thanks to such events.

The weather depends on where you go and where you are. In the high Andes regions of Bolivia and Peru it can already be very cold. But again in the jungle or at the coast it was quite warm in comparison.

Most people said that to manage this in 5 weeks was already a real race. Then imagine only 2 weeks. We planned everything, flew internally or use the land transport with buses and cars.
From a traveller's point of view, you could say that South America can be divided into about three regions.
The already very well developed southern countries like Argentina, Uruguay and Chile with their European influence, their political representation and their relatively high standards. There you get the best wines and it seems to be a paradise for meat eaters.

Then there are the less developed regions, the "Inca and Amazon countries", Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador/Colombia. Here you will find the legendary and world-famous sights.

What struck us is that the countries with the most backpackers are above all Bolivia and Peru, that is possibly due to a clear "path" and/ or offer of attractions, party hostels, sightseeings and tours.

Mochila pela América do Sul

14 dias de natureza, paz e um ambiente estrangeiro. Esse foi o plano dos meus amigos e eu. Se você é livre ao mesmo tempo, você pode fazer algo juntos. Disse - feito. Depois que nós três discutimos para onde queríamos ir, o vôo já estava reservado.
A vastidão distante da selva sul-americana e os lugares quase esquecidos, nessa região, fomos realmente levados com ela.

Por isso o plano era voar para o Peru. De lá seguimos para a Bolívia e finalmente para a Colômbia, de onde começamos nossa viagem de volta para casa.
14 dias, um cronograma apertado. 4,5 dias por lugar. Mas valeu a pena. Caminhamos até onde pudemos e dormimos em nossas tendas.
A tecnologia é quase inútil em tais lugares, porque se tivéssemos pelo menos 2 horas de Internet, já éramos as pessoas mais felizes sob este sol. Mas valeu a pena. A América do Sul oferece um espetáculo maravilhoso da natureza.
Com nossas mochilas de costas, percorremos a paisagem durante o dia. Nós nos juntamos especialmente a um grupo, mesmo que a natureza pareça quase intocada aqui, no entanto, muitos turistas vêm aqui graças a tais eventos.

O tempo depende de onde você vai e onde você está. Nas regiões dos Andes altos da Bolívia e do Peru já pode ser muito frio. Mas novamente na selva ou na costa era bastante quente em comparação.

A maioria das pessoas disse que para gerenciar isso em 5 semanas já era uma corrida real. Então imagine apenas 2 semanas. Nós planejamos tudo, voamos internamente ou usamos o transporte terrestre com ônibus e carros.
Do ponto de vista de um viajante, pode-se dizer que a América do Sul pode ser dividida em cerca de três regiões.
Os já muito bem desenvolvidos países do sul, como Argentina, Uruguai e Chile, com sua influência européia, sua representação política e seus padrões relativamente altos. Lá você tem os melhores vinhos e parece ser um paraíso para os consumidores de carne.

Depois há as regiões menos desenvolvidas, os "países inca e amazônicos", Bolívia, Peru e Equador/Colômbia. Aqui você encontrará as paisagens lendárias e mundialmente famosas.

O que nos impressionou é que os países com mais mochileiros são sobretudo a Bolívia e o Peru, o que se deve possivelmente a um claro "caminho" e/ou oferta de atrações, albergues de festas, passeios turísticos e passeios.

Mit dem Rucksack durch Südamerika

14 Tage Natur, Ruhe und eine fremde Umgebung. Das war der Plan von meinen Freunden und mir. Wenn man schon zeitgleich frei hat, kann man auch etwas zusammen unternehmen. Gesagt - Getan. Nachdem wir drei diskutiert hatten, wo wir denn hin möchten, wurde auch schon der Flug gebucht.
Die fernen Weiten des Südamerikanischen Dschungels und die fast vergessenen Orte, in dieser Region hatten es uns angetan.

Deshalb stand auf dem Plan nach Peru zu fliegen. Von da aus weiter nach Bolivia und als Abschluss noch nach Columbia, von wo dann die Heimreise angetreten wurde.
14 Tage, ein straffer Zeitplan. 4,5 Tage pro Ort. Doch es hat sich gelohnt. Wir wanderten soweit es uns möglich war und schliefen diese Zeit über in unseren Zelten.
Technik ist an solchen Orten fast nutzlos, denn wenn wir wenigstens 2 Stunden Internet hatten, waren wir schon die glücklichsten Menschen unter dieser Sonne. Doch es hat sich gelohnt. Südamerika bietet einem ein wunderbares Schauspiel der Natur.
Mit den Rücksäcken auf den Rücken ging es am Tage durch die Landschaft. Wir hatten uns extra einer Gruppe angeschlossen, auch wenn die Natur fast unberührt hier scheint, kommen doch sehr viele Touristen dank solch Veranstaltungen hierher.

Das Wetter hängt stark davon ab, wohin man geht bzw. Wo man gerade ist. In den hohen Andenregionen Boliviens und Perus kann es schon sehr kalt sein. Doch wiederum im Dschungel oder an der Küste war es im Vergleich schon recht warm.

Die meisten sagten dieses in 5 Wochen zu schaffen, sei schon ein echtes Rennen. Dann stellt euch mal nur 2 Wochen vor. Wir planten alles, flogen intern oder nutzen den Landverkehr mit Bussen und Autos.
Aus Sicht eines Reisenden kann man ssgen, dass sich Südamerika in etwa drei Regionen aufteilen lässt.
Die schon sehr gut entwickelten südlichen Länder wie Argentinien, Uruguay und Chile mit ihrem europäischen Einfluss, ihrer politischen Vertretung und ihren relativ hohen Standards. Dort bekommt man auch die besten Weine und es scheint ein Paradis für Fleischesser zu sein.

Dann gibt es die weniger entwickelten Regionen, die sagen wir mal "Inka- und Amazonasländer", also Bolivien, Peru und Ecuador/Kolumbien. Hier findet man die sagenhaften und weltberühmten Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Was uns auffiel ist, dass die Länder mit den meisten Rucksacktouristen vor allem Bolivien und Peru sind, dass liegt eventuell an einem klaren "Pfad" bzw. Angebot an Attraktionen, Party-Herbergen, Sehenswürdigkeiten und Touren.
