Hi everyone, It's kinda tricky here In Indonesia whether it's rain season or it's still dry season. Cause we have both in almost everyday. Strong sun in the morning and afternoon and have it rain in the evening. Make the night so good to rest in hearing the sounds of rain drops. One of that night in Aceh, Indonesia, I was out for dinner with my family and we stopped at Kanasha Cafe in Ahmad Yani street, Langsa, Aceh Province. Here they have various of tasty meals and nice atmosphere to sit there enjoy an evening with accompany. This is one of the best cafes in this small town. This time I have a different dish that is Siomay and Ice mint drink with manggo slices and vanilla ice cream on it. Though it's kind of thai mango on the menu i read, but when it came to me, okay this one different, but I drink it still, thirsty.

Siomay is a food often found in Indonesia, generally on the street food area at affordable prices. Siomay are food consisting of meatball, potato slices, tofu, cabbage rolls and boiled eggs that are steamed, and with Indonesia typical peanut sauce that smothered with mini chilies, brown sugar, tamarind, salt and other spices. It feels really unique. Sweet but not too sweet. And I can squeeze lime slices on my plate if I like a little acid on my dumplings, also they give mashed green chili on the edge of my plate. Something round and white that's the boiled chicken eggs which is a very delicious blend with all that on this plate. If you find this in your city. Try it!

A delicious Siomay is in its soft texture, fleshy meatball, you know, not too much flour mixture nor too little so that it becomes hard texture. And the nut mixture seasoning with the addition of complete Indonesian spices is what determines the flavor of the dumplings. For Siomay at this Kanasha cafe I would give a value of 7 out of 10 with it's price at 15000 rupiah or 1 $ and the minty mango ice cream drink is also 1$, so it's cheap and I feel full with a good portion of that. Plus, they are pretty fast in serving it without I waited too long, clean and cozy place really good for a gathering or hangout with friends in their non smoking room. For the outdoor smoking room? well, not for me at all.
