I feel quite silly now, knowing about the arcs in France and NYC— thinking how funny to have these mirror image structures --- and totally did not realize quite how many arcs exist elsewhere. Definitely putting this one on my Spain bucket list!
The colour of the Arc really is quite unique actually. It typifies the architecture in the city of Barcelona and I shouldn't really be that surprised about it being red haha! Thanks for taking us on a little tour around it and hope you enjoyed the bubble blowing scenes in the park afterwards!
The colour of the arch is caused by the red brick that was used to create it, and indeed that's really not surprising considering that Spain has most of it territory covered with red soil. :)
Yep, Nicky - this is also from my weekend spent in Barcelona and there are coming out more soon. I'm not even at the half of places visited there, hehe.
Interesting photos of some excellent architecture. Barcelona is a place I've wanted to visit for a long time, but I've never quite managed it yet, although I've been to Spain a few times.

It sure is. And there are way too many places to be seen, the only thing you need is time.
It's like looking at the evil twin of Paris's Arc de Triomphe, and so reddish!
But in reality is the good twin, haha. More positive vibes than the one from Paris, in my opinion :)

The architecture is really amazing. That's how Barcelona is also known as Gaudi's city :)
