Hitchhiking in Dombay. Day 13 (Last) by @fourapril

in #travelfeed6 years ago

Alarm clock 4:30, we collect a tent, brush our teeth. I called yesterday's trucker.

-And I already had a Сheerful Life (this is a village 10 km away), I had to call early.

Damn, now the car to Rostov to catch, well, nothing, but early up.
Caught the Gazelle (its small russian track) up to Rostov, it's about 150 km, it's almost time to take a short time.
In Rostov they ate in a canteen with Soviet design and got into a TV set, in which they twisted biomusic morning shows for young mothers on the channel Friday. I understood why we do not have a TV, I regretted that it's impossible to flag the TV show.

Again we were stuck for several hours on the highway, it's good that this time stood under the bridge and it was not so hot. It was planned for this day to get to Moscow, and before it another 1050 km.

We met two hitchhikers, crushed such with dreadlocks, as it turned out they are coming from Turkey (!).

We were picked up by a distance of 350km to Belgorod, as it turned out we were not fenced-off, because after 1 km the police station and no one wanted to take risks. Everyone in Russia is afraid of the police :D

There are people with whom it is very easy to build a dialogue, and so this driver of these. 5 hours passed unnoticed and here we are only 200 km left to Voronezh.

Landed before the police station, and then a long climb with a bump stop about 2 km, and the rain starts to bother, go.

They barely made it to the cafe upstairs and took a break. A bit bite and went on the highway, because it was starting to get dark, and we had plans to get to Voronezh.

Caught a big truck and just in Voronezh, Oh yeah! On the road, they listened to the dishonesty of Muscovites, about his third marriage, and so they spilled on trifles. I started to stick, we woke up at 4:30, and now it was about 22:00.

We got out of the car on the bypass and decided to tear up the hardcore, having bought BURN (energy drink).

As a result, a slightly rusty car brakes to Moscow. The young logisticist is leaving Novorossiysk since the morning, which means that sooner or later he will probably get up for the night. So in the end it turned out and only 200km to Moscow left! We get out of the car, and here the cold is wild, the wind and the rain begin.

We have not left ourselves a choice for today, we are standing still. I go up to the only guy at the gas station, they say, my friend, take them to Moscow. He hesitated, but eventually took. Merry Perm, who also travels all day, but from the Crimea to Yaroslavl. In the street a downpour began. I am glad that in a couple of hours we will be in Moscow. I do not know how the Muscovites are guided by the Moscow Ring Road, but we managed to navigate the ramp to the Shchelkovo highway. It is raining, and we are walking along the Moscow Ring Road and the oncoming waggons happily shower us with water. In the middle of the road it was found out that somewhere the sleeping bag had been lost, it was necessary to return.

There are only 23 km left, but downpour in the street and 4:30 am, hopes of getting to my friend Alexei before he goes to work were minimal. We conferred and decided to allocate 600 rubles for a taxi, even more likely for the opportunity to sleep, eat, wash in 30 minutes.
This ended our hitch-hiking summer, after a week at BlaBlacСar, we rush to St. Petersburg, where we are waiting for new tests: the search for housing, works, but this is another story.
We were able to pass for an incredible distance of ~ 1200km
(Spoiler: in the end we live now practically without money in St. Petersburg, so every your upvote is a small piece of food on our table =))
