The adventure continues! :) It really is all about hitchhiking with the two of you :)
Noodles are my favorite! My husbands roots are in Indonesia so we eat a lot of Asian meals and the noodle soup is the top! It's nice that you get such a delicious meal right after you crossed the border :)
If there would be the only reason why I wouldn't go hitchhiking it would be something like the issue that you had with the taxi driver. I would not feel comfortable explaining all the time that I don't want to do it. You need to be a little bit more adventurous than me to enjoy such situations :)
But as usually you were lucky in the end and you even found a room :) Well done!

Thank you once again @delishtreats for another lovely comment! The taxi thing doesn't happen too often, mostly when you are trying to get out of a city. Once you have made your way out of the city it tends to be much easier to get a ride!
That's great that you guys eat a lot of noodles! They are always so tasty! Do you cook them youselves or do you tend to go to restaurants to eat them?

I am still not sure if I would do something like that :) I only hitchhiked once in my life because I didn't have money to get home from a weekend away, lol :D
My husband cooks them and I only help. He is the only who cooks Asian dishes and I do the rest of the world dishes :)
