“City within a City” • [A City A Story Photo Weekly Contest #47 - Urban Night]

Any plan for the weekends?
Maybe I can give you an idea on what to do and where to go.
Well, come with me as I take to you a breathtaking place that I discovered few days ago.
I am away for a while, did some stuff and gone somewhere that I personally called, A City within a City.
You are probably familiar of the place with the love locks on the bridge, the S-shape water channel, the gondola and the colorful buildings... Yes! You are right, I am in Venice Grand Canal! 🤗🤗
But the thing that you don’t know was, it is not in Venice, Italy. And you heard it right!
This Venice Grand Canal is located at the Bonifacio Global City at McKinley Hill Garden Villas in Taguig, Philippines.
It is actually a shopping mall of Megaworld Lifestyle Mall with botiques, plenty restos and coffee shops, cinemas and everything you can see in typical mall but what so amazingly special about this one was the architectural design and the Venetian theme of the place. Where you can hear the Italian Opera song playing over and the all employees will greet you in Italian.
Also, it has a Bar, Cafe and Restaurant in at the middle of the canal that so interesting to be there with the 360 degree view of the mall.
The Gondola rides was excticing with the boatman and will sing Italian Opera while cruising, and they are friendly too.
The Gondola ride cost 400.00 Php per person or 1,600.00 if you want on board alone.
And more fun activities that you will definitely enjoy while roaming around.

What an amazing venue! I've heard that there is a similar place somewhere in Malaysia if I'm not mistaken. It makes traveling so easy! You can visit places without going there :) Thank you for sharing!
