It really was, just ran out of money really (and patience - some of the people I was travelling with were a little bit on the annoying side).

Good question there... Very difficult to say, they all are awesome places with great views to offer. USA with it's vast canyons, Canada with its vast mountain scenery, Australia with its vast beaches and coastlines....
