This is me… at Las Brisas Ixtapa Resort (part 2, beach and pool)

in #travel6 years ago

Hello everyone. Here is the second part of my experience at Las Brisas Resort in Ixtapa, Mexico.

These pictures were taken from the 22nd floor of the hotel. To get to the beach it is necessary to go down to the 10th floor and then exit to the lift that goes down to the beach.

When is not convenient to enter the sea, the elevator is deactivated. However, it is possible to reach the beach by the staircase.

There is 0.62 mile of private beach. Here you will not find sellers, or anything that disturbs your fun. The beach is "horseshoe shaped" and is flanked by huge rocks that make impossible the access to people who are not staying at the hotel. A great point in favor.

The sand is fine and has a nice cream color. Sometimes you will see some rocks, or some rocks, but they are very few. The beach is clean. No garbage is appreciated because the cleaning staff is constantly doing their jobs. The sea has a color that varies between turquoise and dark blue. In the morning the water tends to be warm. Around noon it starts to cool down a little bit, but it's still very nice.

The sunshades and day beds are strategically located in the most suitable places to enter the sea. They are also close to the restaurant.

073.jpg

This is the restaurant on the beach. The specialty is seafood. You can also enjoy all kinds of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. You can eat in the restaurant or under your sunshade: in this case the waiters take to your place everything you ask for. Everything is part of the all-inclusive plan.

This is the roughest part of the beach. Only for contemplation.

The pool has tempered water and is suitable for the whole family. You can see part of the forest and the sea. It is also close to a restaurant and the waiters, as in the case of the beach, take everything what you ask for.

Opinion: the beach and its surroundings are the strongest point of the resort. The landscape is really beautiful. Regarding the sea, the waves were strong and somewhat dangerous at the time I was there: you can easily fall down and be dragged. Not recommended to go with children in seasons when the sea is restless. The months in which the sea is calm and does not represent a danger are generally August, September and October. The rest of the year you have to be careful. However, there are two professional lifeguards that circulate on the beach at all times, always attentive to any emergency. The pools are clean, well maintained and offer a nice view.

Next, I will present the third part of my experiences in this hotel. I will discuss the spa and the gym. Thank you and see you next time.
