Anyway, it is a temple located at Chiang Mai Province and its “nickname” is Doi Suthep – it has a very long name indeed! Doi Suthep was established in 1383 and it is one of the most sacred temples in Thailand. You have to overcome the 309 stair steps just to get to the temple and it’s all worth it.
