If you want to avoid the hecticness & chaos in Marrakech you should visit Essaoira which is only 2.5h away from the City.
It's small coast village with loads of good seafood restaurants and a lot of tiny alleys to discover. Def should have a stop here if you plan to travel in Morocco.
