Paris is one of the beautiful cities on Earth and also one of the romantic city that every couple must visit. Actually, to be honest, I never been to Paris before. This is just a guide for future me when travelling to Paris. 

To future me, I hope you will bring your (my) family to visit Paris in the future. 

This guide is mainly made for those who love visit taking photo, classic building, city touring, shopping and highly recommend to visit with your other half.

This guide, or itinerary, suitable for those who going for at least 3 days.

Day 1

  • Arc de Triomphe

Arc de Triomphe, is one of the famous monuments in Paris. Located in the center of Place Charles de Gaulle. If you are visiting Paris, definitely take photo here. You can stay here for around 1 to 2 hours.
  • Champs-Élysées

Champs-Élysées is just in front of the Arc de Triomphe. With the total length of 1800 meters, also known as the most beautiful street in Paris. This street contain lots of branded shops. If you don’t want to shop here, it’s still very pleasant to walk down the street.
  • Pavillon Ledoyen, Alléno Paris

Pavillon Ledoyen, Alléno Paris is a 100 plus years old restaurant. Got 3 Michelin star since 2015. If you have extra budget, definitely try out their food.
  • Grand Palais

Grand Palais is a large historic site, exhibition hall and museum complex. They often have different type of exhibition from time to time.
  •  Petit Palais

The Petit Palais is an art museum in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. If you love art, definitely visit this place.
  • Place de la Concorde

Place de la Concorde is one of the major public squares in Paris. At each of the eight angles of the octagonal Place is a statue, represent 8 France cities.You can stay here for around 1 to 2 hours.
  • Tuileries Garden

The Tuileries Garden is a public garden located between the Louvre Museum and the Place de la Concorde in the 1st arrondissement of Paris. There are dessert shops in the garden, you can enjoy your dessert while experiencing the leisure life in Paris.
  • The Louvre

This is also a must visit place in Paris. The Louvre is also the world's largest museum and a historic monument in Paris. Don’t forget to enjoy the charming night view of The Louvre.

Day 2

  • Notre-Dame de Paris

We start our second day at Notre-Dame de Paris. This famous cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture on which construction began in the 12th century, stands on the Île de la Cité and is the symbolic heart of the city. There are clock tower and museum inside, you can try to climb up the clock tower, great view up there.
  • Île de la Cité

After finished visiting the Notre-Dame de Paris, don’t leave first. Walk around the Île de la Cité, you will find Sainte-Chapelle, a royal chapel and Conciergerie, a formal prison.
  • Comme Chai Toi

It’s lunch time! Comme Chai Toi located opposite of  the Notre-Dame de Paris. They serve traditional Paris dishes.
  • Île Saint-Louis

The Île Saint-Louis is connected to the rest of Paris by four bridges to both banks of the river and to the Île de la Cité by the Pont Saint-Louis. If you have extra time, you can walk around and if you lucky, you might find the most delicious ice-cream in the valley.
  • Montmartre

Montmartre is a large hill in Paris's 18th arrondissement. On top of the hill, is Sacré-Cœur, a Roman Catholic church.  
  • Place du Tertre

Located not far away from the church. You can find a lot of street artist. If you want, you can ask them to draw a portrait of yourself.
  • Café des 2 Moulins

Coffee shop that built in 1912. You might ask, what so special about this place? In the movie “Amélie”, this is where the Amélie works. The coffee shop full of “Amélie” movie poster, movie souvenirs. Just take a break and have your tea time here.
  • Moulin Rouge

Moulin Rouge is a cabaret in Paris. Moulin Rouge is best known as the spiritual birthplace of the modern form of the can-can dance.
  • Lafayette

Finally! Shopping time! This is Europe's most luxurious department store. Located next to Palais Garnier. 
  • Printemps Haussmann

Along the Boulevard Haussmann street, there is Printemps Haussmann, another department stores. If you love shopping, be sure to check out this place.
  • Palais Garnier

Palais Garnier is a Paris opera house. I got no comment on this. If you love opera, why not watch an opera show before you leave.

 Day 3

  • Palace of Versailles

The Palace of Versailles is the central part of a complex that housed the French government, most notably its royalty, during the reigns of Louis XIV (France’s famed “Sun King”), Louis XV and Louis XVI. After the French Revolution in 1789, it ceased to be a permanent royal residence.
  •  Eiffel Tower

You can’t said you visit Paris if you didn’t visit Eiffel Tower. If you have extra time, take the elevator to the top of the tower and enjoy Paris night view from the tower.
  • Seine

Last place to visit in Paris, is Seine. Seine is a 777-kilometer-long river and an important commercial waterway within the Paris Basin in the north of France.Take a cruise during the night and enjoy a romantic French dinner.
